Wrap the black strapping around the package, bringing both ends to the top or side where you plan to tension and seal it. Make sure the strap sits flat and is not twisted. - Apply Tension
Use a manual tensioner, combination tool, or strapping dispenser to tighten the strap. Pump or crank the tool until the strap is firm and the package no longer shifts. - Seal the Strap
Place a strapping seal or buckle over the overlapping strap ends. - Cut Excess Strapping
Once sealed, use the cutting blade on your tool (or strapping shears) to trim off excess strapping. Hold the strap firmly while cutting to prevent snap-back.
