Light Duty Polythene Bags

A popular and economical form of retail and industrial packaging, transparent bags not only allow contents to be visible, but they also provide hygienic protection against dirt, dust and moisture.
With an opening at one end, available in a wide range of sizes and duties from light to heavy duty. These open top polybags are great for a host of applications in everyday scenarios and are reusable if required.
The different microns available range from 80 to 125 making them the ideal product for lightweight items such as clothing, booklets, toys and food. Whilst the higher microns make them suitable for items such as nails, bolts and when needed to pack heavy, bulky and sharp goods.
One of the main benefits with open ended polythene bags is that you can secure it any way you require. For added security, they can be heat sealed using a range of heat sealers, or they can be secured with cable ties, elastic bands and much more.
Most polythene materials can be written on with permanent markers, however, we do have a range of write-on-panel grip seal bags, specially designed for labelling.

Light Duty Polybags
Choose from 80, 100, 120 Gauge (20, 25, 30 micron)

To protect from dust, dirt and moisture they can be used for all sorts of light weight products.
These light duty bags can be closed with bag neck tape for even more protection and a professional look.

Medium Duty Polybags
Choose from 200, 250 Gauge (50, 62.5 micron)
Clear Medium Duty polythene bags, manufactured from food safe virgin polythene. Ideal for gifts, hardware, food goods, pet products and much more. Suitable for food packaging. A simple, neat and effective way to package groups of items whilst retaining the visibility of the goods. Protecting from dust, dirt and moisture they can be used for all sorts of products. These medium duty bags can be closed with bag neck tape or heat sealed for even more protection and a professional look.

Heavy Duty Polybags
Choose from 400, 500 Gauge (100, 125 micron)
Clear Heavy Duty polythene bags, manufactured from food safe virgin polythene suitable for food packaging as well as many other uses, such as sand. Heavy duty polythene bags combine high clarity with great strength, providing reliable storage and mailing bags for businesses.
Suitable for packing and protecting heavier products, our small polybags are perfect packing solutions for ironmongers and DIY stores, whilst the large clear bags may be used as mailing and packaging solutions for garden centres and builders’ merchants.
