Static Polypropylene Strapping Dispenser

Types of tools and accessories;
Tensioning and sealing tools
Separate sealing and tension tools. Typically these are popular where strapping is being applied to products or pallets less frequently and the cost of a combination tool isn’t justified. The tensioning tool works on a flat surface (vertical or horizontal) with the ends of the strapping being fed into the tool and the tension being applied using the handle. Once the required degree of tension has been applied the metal seal can be crimped around the strap using a hand sealing tool.

Combination tools
Ergonomically designed combination tools. A combination tool is a single, manually operated unit that replaces separate tools to tension, seal and cut plastic or steel strapping. A combination tool is ideally suited to straightforward strapping applications as it is fast and compact. A sealless combination tool may also be used for steel strapping, as this punches the strap to create an integral seal and a separate seal component is not required. These tools allow you to save time when tensioning and sealing polypropylene strapping by combining both actions in a simple, easy-to-use tool. They are designed for use where strapping is required on a horizontal, flat surface making it the most common tool for strapping pallets or cartons.

Strapping accessories
Most users of polypropylene strapping will benefit from improved efficiency. With the added extras of dispenser stands and strapping trolleys this can be improved. Both of these accessories provide a quick and easy way to move strapping coils around your working environment. It’s often far easier to take the strapping to your product than the other way round.

Friction weld tool
The handheld friction weld tool is the strapping tool of choice for high volume strapping requirements. Used to wrap and seal polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PET) strapping around a product, pallet or container. Strapping applied using one of these tools gives increased security and protection. These units are cordless and lightweight so benefit from being fully mobile. They are powered by a rechargeable battery. They are simple to use and the programmable controls allow the required amount of strapping and tensioning time to be set up by the operator.
